The West Visalia Kiwanis Club invited Alison Recendez, Program Coordinator for CSET's Youth Department, to share about the pilot Kings/Tulare Youth Advisory Board on Homelessness (YAB). Alison shared in great detail the YAB's program mission, objectives, and current projects. The YAB's mission is to end homelessness in young adults 18-24 years old by performing acts of community service, creating self-improvements, and promoting leadership. YAB members also receive career and job readiness support.

The West Visalia Kiwanis Club generously contributed $500 from their community services committee to support the efforts of this youth-led board. Thank You West Visalia Kiwanis, and thank you Alison Recendez for your passion in ending homelessness for young adults in Kings and Tulare counties.
